About me

Hello there!

I am sure you are wondering who I am and why I have started this “parenthood” type of blog. Well, I am Jordan. I am a journalist gone middle school teacher. I am in my 20’s and have officially been initiated into the title of “mother”. With my journalism background I really enjoy blogging and sharing in events and lessons I learn throughout my life. So, I figured what better adventure to share with the world than what my husband and I learn through this new chapter in our life: Parenthood.

The handsome gentleman you see in the photo would be my husband, Michael. Michael is in his 30’s, is a personal trainer, and is from England (yes ladies, he has THE accent!) Our story of how we met is very Hollywood.

You know the scenario…

Girl moves to London. Girl meets boy. Boy asks girl out. They fall in love. Girl’s visa expires and she moves back to America. One year of Skype dates and expensive plane tickets later, boy moves to America. Boy and girl get married. Now, that girl and boy are expanding their family by one.

Michael and I are thrilled to be having a baby added to our growing family. We already have two adorable fur babies; Mia, our 15-year-old cat, and Morrison, our 2-year-old retriever/lab pup. Both being loveable handfuls in themselves.

Anyways, with this blog I hope you find entertainment filled moments of laughter and, perhaps, maybe even learn something new that’ll help you out in your parenting adventures.

Please enjoy, comment and share anything you’d like to add to our lives’ new chapter. With parenthood, you can never have enough helpful tips and tricks. 🙂
